About Us
Professional And Efficient
Using the latest 3D laser scanning technology, our FARO scanner can collect highly accurate and detailed point clouds that enable the production of 2D drawings and 3D modelling using software such as Autocad, Revit and Sketchup
Using a 3D laser scanners has many advantages over traditional survey methods; The ability to collect up to a million points per second with an accuracy of +/- 1mm combined with colour photographs reduces the need to revisit site as all the necessary data is collected first time.
Scanning times are minimal and can be done from a distance eliminating the need for safe access, i.e. scaffolding. Once all the scans have been collected, they are then fully registered into a single point cloud that can then be used in many designs and modelling programmes.
Services
Laser scanning is to date the fastest and most detailed form of building documentation. Simply make an enquiry stating your requirements. You will then receive a quotation within 24 hours. If you decide to proceed, we will contact you to arrange a date to conduct a site survey. You will then receive a fully registered point cloud/ CAD Drawing / Revit model or PDF depending on your requirements.

What Can We Do For You ?
Services
We cover the South East of England and offer a same day service for Laser Scanning and a Seven-day turnaround for Measured Surveys.
Duration
A single scan can take a few minutes to an hour, depending on the resolution and accuracy required. The distances a scanner can reach can be up to 350 meters.
3D Laser Scanner
A 3D laser scanner is a precise piece of survey equipment that can collect millions of accurately measured points per scan while capturing full-colour photographs. In most cases, an object or building will need several scans in order to document every angle and plane fully.
Procedure
Once the scans are collected, they then need to be processed and registered using registration software. The registering prosses joins each scan together, creating an incredibly accurate registered point cloud. The point cloud can then be accessed via Faro Webshare.

London
ST Architects
“We use PSS to do all our surveys, There drawings are accurate and clear and come accompanied with the point cloud so we can produce 3D models.”
